What Are You Hiding?

Bi-Han stiffened, holding the bundle of cloth closer to his chest. Injured and defeated as he was, there was no way in hell he was going to let this Shirai Ryu dog near.

Hanzo had other ideas, drawing his sword. Bi-Han felt the bundle begin to tremble. Before Bi-Han could react, Hanzo darted forward, grabbing the cloth and trying to pull it.

He only yanked away enough for Kuai’s head to be revealed, terrified blue eyes staring at Hanzo.

“A child?” To Bi-Han’s surprise, Hanzo drew back, replacing his sword. “What is the meaning of this?”

“He’s my brother.”

There was silence between them, before Hanzo gave a frustrated sigh and held out his hand.

“Come with me, I promise he will not be harmed.”

Despite everything, Bi-Han took Hanzo’s hand.
