Hi! My name is Summer! I'm 32 years old and I'm from the UK!
I'm an Agender Lesbian, and I primarily go by They/Them pronouns, but I will respond to any pronouns :) Can't be misgendered if you go by all pronouns after all!
I am a writer and artist, primarily working on fanfiction and fanart, but I would like to work more on my own original projects too!
Speaking of fandom, it will be a big part of this site! It's a hobby that I have enjoyed for many years and I intend to do so for many more! I am a bit of a recluse, I often joke I'm a fandom hermit who comes out of their cave every so often to place fanfic down in front of people before scurrying back.
As such I like to attend conventions, I love buying art and things from artists! I just love the vibes of cons and they are my happy place! Due to recent events however I have stayed away for a while, but I do hope to be able to start attending again! I'm determind to make 2023 the year I start going back to cons!
You may have noticed that my main fandom is Mortal Kombat and my ultimate OTP is Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi)/Sub Zero (Kuai Liang). This has honestly been my longest standing fandom at almost 8/9 years now, and I don't seem to be loosing interest at all! I've found my fandom home, and I am very happy creating fanworks for it!
I have other stuff going on in my life, but nothing I'm too keen on sharing publicly yet :) For info of other things I'm into, please check out my faves page!

Why did I make this site?

I made this site partially because I wanted a central hub for all my stuff, but also because I've been on the internet since around the early 2000's, and spent a large portion of my teen years coding websites on Neopets and Freewebs. This movement for bringing back personalisation and crushing corporation helped me realise what I missed about that era of the internet.
I'm not the best coder, but I'm happy with what I have and am really glad I found Neocities! It's really wonderful to see people embrace this culture, especially kids who are around the same age I was back when I first started making websites! I'm happy that Neocities is helping you find something that gave me so much joy back in the day :)

What are my goals with this site?

Like I said above, I mostly want it as a central hub for my stuff. I also kinda wanna get back into making character websites like I did way back when I was a Neopets kid ^^;;
My ultimate goal is just to have fun and enjoy myself (even if sometimes coding makes me want to cry because WHY WON'T IT JUST WORK DAMN IT???

Bullet PointI have two tattoos, one of a deaths head moth and one of a lunar moth.

Bullet PointI used to have a monroe piercing but I had to take it out :( I will one day get it redone.
Bullet PointI suffer from Chronic Spontaneous Angioedema. This basically means I have random episodes of swelling with no real trigger. It is not an allergy. It's not life threatening either, just incredibly uncomfortable and annoying.

Bullet PointI'm actually mildly dyslexic! I find it very hard to pick up on typos and misspellings, and often struggle with words with different spellings but pronounced the same (Eg. Their, There and They're).
