Very quick entry to say... I FINISHED AU-GUST!!!
Here's another quick preview;
"I received orders to get to that planet and arrest you lot." Hanzo waved his hand at the group as he spoke.
"Specifically us? Like, using names and everything?" Liu questioned, and Kuai was thankful someone else had wanted to know the answer to that.
"Yes. I was given very thorough orders, including your names." Right, so that definitely implied they were all deliberately picked for this too. What the hell was going on? "Those tarkatan idiots will rue this mix up when I return to command."
"But it wasn’t a mix up though," Kuai argued, although he realised after it slipped out that he hadn't meant to say it aloud.
Hanzo’s head snapped around to him, and his eyes narrowed. "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, this was an ambush, and you were apart of the group being targeted." Two. Four. One. They were all victims of some elaborate scheme. Hanzo didn’t appear to believing him, if how he shook from rage was anything to go by. "Think about it. Those tarkatan did know exactly who you were. They knew why you were there. They even told you what was happening themselves."
"And what exactly was that?" Hanzo spat, looking seconds away from punching Kuai in the face.
"I-" Kuai swallowed, he wasn't someone easily intimidated. Being around Bi-Han so much, he'd rather built up a resistance to those easily angered. Yet Hanzo's rage was like nothing he'd ever experienced. Even so, he took a deep breath and said "I am sorry, General Hasashi, but you have been betrayed. Someone in your command sent you here to get killed with the rest of us."
Hanzo raised a hand and Kuai automatically flinched, expecting it to collide with him. Only it didn't. Hanzo kept his hand still for a moment, before balling it into a fist. He turned on the spot, before storming off out of the cockpit.
No one followed him.

I swear I didn't just make this and then completely forget about it!
Done A LOT of creative stuff recently. Working on some stuff for my business that I can't really talk about here, but I'm proud of how it's turning out so far so I have to mention it!
Been doing a lot of drawing stuff, including reusing my old nekoweb account to create Ashes Of Eden, an online sketchbook. I'll update it every now and then when I feel like it
Also recently got back into making pixel dolls, you can see those in the fanart & original art sections of this site.
I also created a fic commentary page, where I can just dump thoughts and ideas I have for my fics. Mostly somewhere I can dump shit about oneshots since I know I have a habit of just sort of leaving them on cliffhangers
figured it might give some closure on them haha.
As of writing this I am 29/31 for AU-Gust! Very excited to finish it & share everything in August! I'll finish up this entry with a quick unedited paragraph from one of the upcoming fics;
"I know it hasn’t been easy on them either," Kuai explained, remembering how early on his brother's basically had to become his carers. They'd pretty much dropped everything for him, and despite knowing he'd do the same for them, he still felt guilty. Like he'd stolen a year of their lives that they wouldn't get back. "It’s why I want to try and get back to some sense of normality. Let them get on with their lives without worrying about me all the time."
"I can understand that feeling." They came to the top of the stairs, and into a corridor. Kuai followed Johnny to a small room that clearly was his office. He hadn’t been joking, this was a tiny room, with a desk and two chairs. Bi-Han and Tomas would have been a bit of a squeeze. "You don’t have to tell me anything if you don’t want but... What exactly was the accident?"
"I... fell from a balcony." Or, if the prevalent theory of his brother's was true, he was pushed from the balcony. He decided that bit wasn't really relevant here. "I'll be honest, I don't really remember much from it."
He did have some fuzzy memories, blurred vision staring up into the sky. Sometimes he thought he remembered a figure looking down at him from the balcony, but he wasn't sure if that was just a false memory planted by the attempted murder theory.

Finally, got around to making a new creative log... Which is my also my first thing to ramble about! Whoo.
Decided I wanted to go for a KuaiShang theme, particularly MK11 KuaiShang because I'm getting more in the mood for that particular flavour of them ship hehe. I wanted the layout to be fairly simple tho to make updating fairly simple and unpainful. I might tweak it a little later but for now I'm satisfied with it.
