Neither Kuai Liang or Hanzo understand how their relationship developed, all they know is that it was born from lust and quite frankly they wouldn't have it any other way.
But feelings are a strange thing. Completely out of their control. And as time goes on and their relationship develops, they begin to find it very hard to dismiss how they feel.
Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, with both men afraid of what they have.
But Hanzo has information that a mysterious force wants, and it seems they aren't afraid to use Kuai Liang to get it.

Song Kuai Liang Main Character 
He/Him
Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei and certified hot mess, Kuai Liang is a bit of a trainwreck of a human being. A lifetime of trauma has left him as a very complex and quirky individual, who seems to lack the mechanisims to cope with his pain in a healthy manner. Hypersexuality leads him to solve a lot of his problems with sex, especially after he and Hanzo begin their Dom/sub relationship. Coupled with him being a fairly vindictive little shit, he tends to be a lot of handle. He gives as good as he get's though, and while more often than not he takes the submissive role, he isn't afraid to show his more dominant side either.
He can't really make sense of his feelings for Hanzo most of the time. It's a muddled up mix of hate, lust, love, and everything else in between. What he knows for sure is he loves what he has with Hanzo, and he'll do anything to keep it going.
He's been noticing a lot of strange things happening around the Lin Kuei temple lately, and while he's trying to believe he's just being paranoid, he can't escape the sinking feeling something terrible is just around the corner.
Hanzo Hasashi Main Character He/Him
Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu and slightly less of a hot mess, Hanzo himself isn't immune to being a bit of a disaster. The deaths of Harumi and Satoshi haunt him deeply, to the point he isn't entirely sure he ever wants to be in a relationship. What he has with Kuai Liang is perfect, there's no feelings between them except sexual attraction, and it gives him an outlet for his anger. After all, what better way to blow off steam than roughly fuck a total masocist?
However, he's slowly becoming more and more aware that he feels a lot more than just lust for Kuai Liang. The idea of being in love with Kuai Liang is something he will continue to strongly deny. He fears getting too deep and the posibility of losing Kuai Liang terrifies him.
And those threatening letters he's been receiving lately haven't exactly helped...
Minor Characters
Johnny Cage Supporting Character He/Him
Former actor turned Special Forces liaison, Johnny has taken it upon himself to be Kuai Liang's best friend (regardless of if the other man wants him to be or not). He's both Kuai Liang's cheerleader and voice of reason. All he wants is the best for his dear friend (and for these two old men to stop fucking dancing around their feelings god dammit!).
Kenshi Takahashi Supporting Character He/Him
Close friend of Hanzo, while Kenshi is usually working with Special Forces, he's recently taken a leave of absence to persue a personal matter. No one knows where he is, only Hanzo has some clue as to his general location.
Takeda Takahashi Supporting Character He/Him
Hanzo's former apprentise and Kenshi's son, Takeda would usually spend his time split between the Shirai Ryu and Special Forces. Recently he's taken a leave of absence to persue a personal matter along with his father. No one knows where he is, only Hanzo has some clue as to his general location.
Jacqui Briggs Supporting Character She/Her
Takeda's Fiance, she's currently missing him while he's away. She shares Kuai Liang's bad feeling that something big is coming their way, but she can not explain why she thinks that.
Jackson "Jax" Briggs Supporting Character He/Him
Jacqui's father and Takeda's Father-In-Law-To-Be. He's very protective of his daughter, and is still a little on the fence on Takeda as his baby's suitor. God help anyone who tries to hurt his daughter.
