This fic is partially an excuse to put Kuai Liang (& eventually Bi-Han & Tomas) through hell, and partially me exploring dark themes through horror.
I'm not gonna spell it out to you. But if you got a certain vibe from that first chapter, it was an intentional allegory.
Bi-Han & Tomas attempt at rescue is going to go terribly.
Bi-Han is going to be knocked out, and Quan Chi is going to put the same spell he put on Kuai Liang onto him.
And Tomas is going to be bound to Quan Chi in the same way Hanzo is.
Kuai Liang will still be the "favourite" and still go through the worst of it. Partially out of a sense of protection for his brothers, as by the point they get there, Kuai's been with Quan Chi a while and he's grown used to the torture, and believes he can take it more than they can.
But DW, Kuai Liang is gonna kill Quan Chi at some point k
